With reference to the Head of Construction Department the candidate will be responsible for all the hardscape work in our construction projects. The major responsibilities will be:

-Liaises confidently with the consultants / client and provide leadership in problem solving.
-Ensure that the projects are executed within budget and on schedule. Supervises all supervisors, foremen and sub contractors to ensure high quality is sustained.
-Monitors material deliveries to avoid delays. Monitors release of construction drawings and as-built-drawings. Provides assistance in preparing variation costs, claims and scheduling.
-Provision / selection of subcontractor, appointment of labours, rent / purchasing of equipment, and allocation of resources to the various projects.

The applicant we are looking for should have the following qualifications:
-Diploma or Bachelor in Civil Engineering.
-Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in external civil works i.e. walls, kerbs; paving, manholes, roads.
-Complete understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
-Minimum 2 years working experience in UAE.
-Valid driving license and good English skills - speaking and writing.
-Good level of computer literacy with MS-Office, Auto-CAD etc.

Qualifications and competencies:

Location: Abu Dhabi

 Exotica UAE is seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Executive to join its team in Abu Dhabi and report to the General Manager of the Landscape Division.

You will identify, evaluate and generate recommendations regarding new customers and business opportunities and follow-up on them from the stage of opportunity identification until contract signature. You will build and maintain long term business relationships with key personnel and customer organizations (consultants, contractors, and other key people/organizations). You will coordinate with the Design and Quantity Surveying departments for timely submittal of designs and commercial proposals. You will follow up with Project Managers on the progress of execution and ensure timely submittal and settlement of payment certificates and invoices.
You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering or any relevant degree; at least 5 years of experience performing similar functions; strong Microsoft Office skills (AutoCAD is a plus) and a fluency in Arabic and English.

You should be self-driven, result-oriented, reliable and organized. You should have good communication and teamwork skills.
